Holy hell this is the hardest boss fight I've faced so far, and I'm a few levels above the recommended. This is way more emotional than the other stories I've done.Īnyway, I also did the Forest of No Return sidequest. Primrose's story is the best one by far, like wow. Fortunately there's an NPC like that halfway through Primrose's dungeon. Also found a solution to lack of E.atk debuff, just rely on NPC Guide/Allure. Neither are too hard, and now I'm pretty overleveled. Yeah, I ended up not fighting the gods for now. Are the rest just as bad or is she the hardest? Wtf am I supposed to do when her Shooting Star attack instantly reduces my full health party into critical health, with lower HP ones instantly dying. Got my ass thoroughly handed, despite my party being level 46-48 and keeping my gears mostly up to date. Meanwhile party-wide buff needs Dancer Divine Skill, and I didn't bring Primrose. E.Atk debuff is only on certain weapons, one of which you get after beating this boss -_-, and are unreliable. This is also an example of another annoyance I've expressed multiple times: that there are no easy way to debuff enemy E.Atk or buff the party's E.Def, as opposed to the Physical counterparts.
Tried not using Leghold Trap because it cheeses bosses a bit too much, but in the end I decided fuck that. I brought Cyrus, who was almost useless the entire fight. Hard hitting Ao E and he disables area healing.
